The Royal Naval Association granted it's Royal Charter in 1954 is the principal Naval Association recognised by the Admiralty Board and is a Registered Charity. Membership is open to all serving and ex-service members of the Naval Forces including the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, QARNNS, WRNS, Reserves and all ranks and specialisation’s.  In addition, anyone who is in sympathy with the objects of the Association may join as an Associate Member.

The shop also sells a picture of HMS Acasta from the Wright and Logan photogarphic archive which can be brought mounted for £12.50, or unmounted for £8.70. The picture of HMS Acasta is also available in postcard size for £4.00. It is also possible to obtain a copy of the HMS Acasta badge at a cost of £55 plus £5 postage (within the UK).
