This website is my dedication to all who served onboard HMS Acasta, and a lasting tribute to the bravery of both my Grandfather, Cyril 'Nick' Carter, and his fellow crew members. We shall remember them...

My hope is that this website can become an invaluable reference to anyone with an interest in the history of HMS Acasta and her crew, and a place where the families and friends of those who served can share their memories, stories and tributes.

- Pictures and details of the unveiling of the GLARAC memorial plaque in Portsmouth.

- Work will begin on uploading various photo galleries onto the site.

- Rare test firing photos from 1937 of HMS Acasta 4.7 inch guns firing at a towed target in the Mediterranean. These have been scanned and will be uploaded in the near future.
